HYDERABAD: Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy narrowly escaped harm after a minor accident involving his convoy occurred on Friday morning. The incident took place while the minister was traveling from Huzurnagar to attend the Urs celebrations at Janpahad.
In the course of the journey, several vehicles in the convoy collided with one another, resulting in damage to the front portions and bonnets of eight cars. However, the minister remained unharmed, much to the relief of his security team and onlookers.
The mishap caused minor disruptions, but no injuries were reported. Witnesses and officials expressed relief that the accident did not escalate further. Authorities are investigating the circumstances leading to the collisions and ensuring measures are in place to prevent similar incidents in the future.
