Hyderabad: The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board released the MHSRB merit list for 174 assistant professor posts in government medical colleges on Sunday.
The Board said the recruitment covered multiple departments. These included 90 posts in Gynaecology, 44 in Anaesthesia, 28 in Pediatrics, and 12 in Orthopaedics. The vacancies aim to strengthen faculty in state-run medical institutions.
Officials stated that the selection list would follow after certificate verification. Candidates shortlisted in the MHSRB merit list must attend verification on April 1. The process will take place at the Indian Institute of Health and Family Welfare in Vengalrao Nagar, Hyderabad.
The Board clarified that only candidates who complete verification successfully will be considered for final selection. It advised applicants to carry all required original documents for scrutiny.

The Board also announced timelines for another major recruitment process. It said the final merit list and selection list for 2,312 nursing officer posts would be released by April 9.
Officials noted that this phased approach ensures transparency and accuracy in recruitment. The Board is conducting multiple hiring processes to address staff shortages in the public healthcare system.
