HYDERABAD: A 35-year-old married woman from Medchal district has allegedly eloped with a 22-year-old man she met through social media, leaving behind her husband and two children.
According to reports, the woman, identified as Sukanya, developed a relationship with a man named Gopi after connecting on social media platforms. Their online interactions gradually turned into a romantic relationship, prompting them to decide to live together.
Police Investigation Underway
After searching for his wife for a couple of days, Sukanya’s husband filed a missing person complaint with the police. Investigators reviewed CCTV footage, which showed Sukanya leaving with Gopi on his motorcycle.
Authorities tracked the duo to the area near Medchal Oxygen Park, where they abandoned the motorcycle before boarding a moving bus to evade capture. The police are currently conducting search operations to locate them.
