Raghunandan Rao said that farmers should not rush to sell freshly picked cotton. “Middlemen deceive farmers on the pretext of moisture percentage,” he said. “Therefore, farmers must approach officials for clarification and follow proper drying methods before sale.”

He explained that the Government opened CCI centres to ensure farmers received a fair minimum support price. Furthermore, he stated that the Narendra Modi-led BJP Government remained firmly committed to farmer welfare. Consequently, these centres will help protect farmers from exploitation.

In addition, the MP advised farmers to contact agricultural and marketing officials if they had any doubts. He said awareness about drying techniques could help them earn better prices. Besides, he urged them to remain patient and alert while marketing their produce to avoid losses.
