Hyderabad: SOT LB Nagar Zone police, along with Nagole Police of Malkajgiri Commissionerate, busted an MDMA racket and arrested two persons at Nagole X Road during a targeted operation.
Police identified the accused as Junaid Raza Siddiqui (36) and Sunil Subba alias Johny (29). Officers seized 25.65 grams of MDMA, three mobile phones, cash, two Honda Activa scooters, and a weighing machine, with the total value estimated at ₹3.61 lakh.
Acting on a tip-off, police teams conducted the operation on April 1 and intercepted the accused at the location. During questioning, investigators found that the duo procured drugs through local contacts linked to suppliers from Himachal Pradesh.
They then distributed the contraband in the city to earn quick money, police said. Meanwhile, authorities identified two key suppliers, Mohammed Ansar and Raju, who remain absconding.

Officials said coordinated efforts were underway to curb drug trafficking activities across Hyderabad. They also urged citizens to remain vigilant and share information related to drug movements.
In addition, police appealed to the public to cooperate in ongoing enforcement efforts and help curb the spread of narcotics. They said timely inputs from citizens would aid in faster action.
