Hyderabad: Financial dispute led to the murder of a young man was killed in Rajendranagar .
According to police, say the victim, Sai Karthik from Warangal, had been living in Budwel, Rajendranagar. He had borrowed ₹8 lakh from his friend Siddharth Reddy, a native of Pulivendula. When repeated requests for repayment went unanswered, tensions between the two escalated.
According to investigators, the two, along with another friend, had gathered in a rented room to drink. At some point, an argument broke out—likely fueled by both alcohol and frustration and quickly spiraled into violence.
Siddharth allegedly attacked Karthik in a fit of rage, killing him on the spot. Neighbors told police they’d often heard heated arguments between the two, but no one imagined it would end like this.
Police are questioning the third friend who was with them that night to get a clearer picture of what exactly triggered the fatal attack. Investigators believe Siddharth had been pressing Karthik for the money for some time, but Karthik allegedly brushed off the demands, sometimes even threatening Siddharth.
An investigation is underway.
