Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man lost his life on Thursday after a ready-mix lorry, reportedly speeding, rammed into his motorcycle near the Nallagandla signal on the flyover, under Chandanagar police limits.
The victim, Venkataramana, was heading from Tellapur to Lingampally and had stopped at the signal when the lorry crashed into him from behind. He died on the spot.
Preliminary investigation by the police points to overspeeding as the cause. Locals who witnessed the crash alerted authorities, and Chandanagar police responded quickly, registering a case and shifting the body for postmortem.
