Hyderabad: A 45-year-old man died in a road accident on Tuesday morning near Lingampalli village in Tadoor mandal of Nagarkurnool district.
The deceased was identified as Lingam Goud, a resident of Guntha Koduru village. According to police, he was hit by an unidentified vehicle and died on the spot.
Local residents who witnessed the accident alerted police. Officers reached the scene and shifted the body to Nagarkurnool Area Hospital for postmortem. Based on a complaint filed by the victim’s family, Tadoor Sub-Inspector Guru Swamy registered a case and initiated an investigation.
The death has cast a pall of gloom over Guntha Koduru.
