Hyderabad: Minister Danasari Seethakka paid tribute to her husband Kunja Ramu on his 22nd death anniversary and said his ideals continue to guide her public life. The remembrance programme was held at Mokallapalli village in Kothagudem mandal.
Seethakka, along with her son Surya and family members, offered floral tributes at the memorial. Moreover, she recalled his role as both her husband and movement associate.
Kunja Ramu ideals continue to inspire Seethakka
She said he was not just her husband but also a guiding force in her struggle. Therefore, she highlighted his sacrifices for Adivasi rights.
Seethakka said he dedicated his life to addressing the hardships faced by tribal communities. In addition, she said he stood firm for the cause of “Jal, Jungle, Zameen” rights.
She added that his belief in “Mava Nate Mava Raj” shaped her own journey. Meanwhile, she said she continues to work among people with the same commitment.
She stated that leaders like him may no longer be physically present. However, she said their ideas remain alive and continue to inspire future generations.
Later, she released the book “Adavi Divitilu – Seethakka Kunja Ramanna” written by Asnala Srinivas. Consequently, she said the book will carry his struggle and legacy to future generations.
Adivasi leaders, Congress representatives, and party workers attended the programme and paid tributes.
