KTR attends Ugadi at Telangana Bhavan; prediction says opposition gains amid govt failures

Hyderabad: BRS working president KTR attended Ugadi celebrations at Telangana Bhavan, where Panchangam predictions suggested opposition gains amid government failures.

MLAs, MLCs, MPs and party leaders also participated in the event. KTR took part in traditional rituals held as part of the celebrations.

Later, scholars Sri Mrutyunjaya Sharma and Sri Phanindra Sharma presented the Panchanga Sravanam. They said governance issues and policy gaps could strengthen the opposition in the coming period.

They also raised concerns over changes in the education system. According to them, such changes may harm students and misguide youth. In addition, they warned that unemployment could rise if corrective measures are not taken.

The scholars noted that Indian forces would counter external threats effectively. However, they cautioned that tensions with neighbouring countries could increase.

The scholars predicted good rainfall during the year. As a result, reservoirs and water bodies are likely to fill up. They said crops like paddy, cotton and maize may perform well, benefiting farmers and reducing distress.

At the same time, they warned that prices of gold, silver and food grains may rise. However, vegetable prices may see some relief.

They also cautioned about a possible increase in fire accidents, road mishaps and theft cases. Meanwhile, they predicted notable growth in the livestock sector.

On a positive note, they said India could gain greater global recognition and perform well in trade. Living standards may improve, while humanitarian values could strengthen. They also indicated that divorce rates may decline and women may get more opportunities in higher positions.

The scholars further warned about possible natural disasters like cyclones and earthquakes in some regions. However, they expressed confidence that governments would manage such situations effectively.

They mentioned that certain regions, including Punjab, may face natural disturbances. In addition, they cautioned about possible rail, air and road accidents, along with the likelihood of losing some prominent personalities from cinema and politics.

They added that people may experience mental stress during the year. However, they clarified that solar and lunar eclipses may not have a major impact on India.

Notably, KTR appeared in a new look at the event. Unlike his usual formal attire, he wore a white kurta and participated in the rituals before listening to the Panchangam.
