KTR distributes fee cheques to MBBS students

Hyderabad: BRS Working President K T Rama Rao distributed fee cheques to 16 MBBS students selected under the BLR Charitable Trust initiative led by Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy.

The programme aimed to support poor students pursuing medical education. Accordingly, the trust provided financial assistance to cover the annual fees of selected MBBS students.

KTR handed over the cheques to the beneficiaries and wished them success in their studies. He also praised Bandari Lakshma Reddy for supporting underprivileged students pursuing medical education.

Moreover, KTR said Lakshma Reddy had been consistently helping students through the BLR Charitable Trust. According to him, the MLA has been extending financial assistance every year so that deserving students can continue their education.

In addition, he said such initiatives helped students pursue higher studies despite financial constraints. Therefore, KTR described Lakshma Reddy’s service-oriented approach as an example for others.

Meanwhile, Bandari Lakshma Reddy said the trust organised such programmes to ensure that poverty did not force students to discontinue their studies. Furthermore, he added that the trust would continue supporting medical students in the future.

He also expressed hope that the beneficiaries would become successful doctors and serve society. Finally, the students and their family members thanked KTR and the MLA for supporting their education.
