Komatireddy Venkat Reddy plans Ramgiri shrine development

Hyderabad: Komatireddy Venkat Reddy announced plans to develop the Ramgiri Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple into a major spiritual hub by next Sri Rama Navami.

He made the announcement in Nalgonda on Friday while outlining development goals for the historic shrine. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the government aims to upgrade facilities to handle increasing pilgrim inflow.

Earlier, he participated in the Sri Sita Rama Kalyanotsavam at the temple. During the ceremony, he offered silk clothes and mutyala talambralu to the deity.

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said officials have prepared a comprehensive plan to strengthen infrastructure for Ramgiri shrine development. The plan addresses the steady rise in devotees visiting the temple each year.

Moreover, he said authorities will create Vaikuntha Dwaram and Uttara Dwara Darshanam. They will also expand existing darshan routes to ease crowd movement.

Officials have already begun the land acquisition process for these works. According to Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, registration will conclude within a month. Development works will begin immediately after that.

Komatireddy Venkat Reddy stressed the temple’s historical importance while detailing the project. He said the government will improve amenities without disturbing temple lands.

Additionally, he noted that authorities have already diverted the National Highway alignment through a bypass. This step protects temple property from encroachment and disruption.

Extending Sri Rama Navami greetings, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy expressed hope for peace and prosperity among people of Nalgonda. He said the project will enhance both spiritual and regional development.
