Hyderabad: Komatireddy Venkat Reddy sanctioned ₹2.35 lakh in immediate financial assistance to four distressed families in Nalgonda on Monday, responding to medical and livelihood hardships.
The Roads and Buildings and Cinematography Minister extended the support after visiting the One Pillar Shiva Temple in the 28th Division of the town. He offered prayers at the temple and later interacted with local residents.
During the interaction, several individuals presented their urgent medical and financial concerns. The Minister reviewed each case on the spot. Subsequently, he approved aid to four beneficiaries under the Komatireddy immediate financial assistance initiative.
Sara Pavani, wife of Mahesh, who was undergoing treatment for serious health issues, received ₹1 lakh. Similarly, Tarala Bhavani, wife of Uday, who recently lost her husband and was struggling to fund her children’s education, was granted ₹1 lakh.

Under the Komatireddy immediate financial assistance drive, additional support was extended to two more individuals facing health problems. Gundala Padma, wife of Raju, who was dealing with medical complications, was sanctioned ₹10,000 as immediate relief.
Meanwhile, Kurella Shiva, son of Nagarjuna Chary, who was battling illness, received ₹25,000 towards medical expenses. The total assistance amounted to ₹2.35 lakh.
The beneficiaries thanked the Minister for his swift response. They said the Komatireddy immediate financial assistance had provided crucial relief during a difficult period.
