KBR Park one-way traffic trial on Sunday from 11 AM to 1 PM

Hyderabad: City traffic police announced a one-way traffic trial around KBR Park on Sunday between 11 AM and 1 PM due to ongoing H-CITI project works.

Officials said construction of a steel flyover and underpass prompted temporary traffic changes in Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills. Therefore, authorities will regulate vehicle movement through a one-way system during the trial period.

For commuters travelling from NFCL towards Jubilee Hills and KBR Park, police advised a diversion via NTR Bhavan. From there, motorists should proceed through Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital, Agrasen Island, and Omega Hospital.

Further, vehicles can continue towards Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills Check Post, Cable Bridge, and IKEA. Authorities said this route would help ease congestion near the construction zone.

Meanwhile, commuters travelling from Yousufguda and Srinagar Colony towards Road No. 36, 45, Jubilee Hills, and Madhapur must follow an alternate route. They should proceed via Indiranagar Gadda Road (Road No. 5) to Venkatagiri Junction.

From there, motorists need to take a right turn towards Road No. 10 via Diamond House. They should then pass through Al-Cazar and take another right turn towards Road No. 36 and Road No. 45 leading to Madhapur.

At the same time, police instructed motorists to strictly follow traffic rules and on-ground directions during the trial. U-turns will not be allowed, and drivers must keep to the left to access exit points.

Authorities also asked commuters to plan travel and expect changes in regular traffic flow. They said these measures aim to improve long-term infrastructure and ensure smoother traffic movement in the future.
