Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha warned that the tears and suffering of women who lost their homes would not benefit the government.

“I am not a tourist. I will stay here and fight until authorities resolve your problem,” she assured the affected families.

She demanded that the district collector and ministers visit Velugumatla immediately and speak directly with the victims.

Kavitha criticised the government for sending bulldozers to demolish the houses of poor families. She called the action unjust.

She also accused some political parties of trying to exploit the victims’ suffering for political gain.

Kavitha said earlier attempts had targeted the same houses for demolition. She demanded that the government allot land again at the same locations.

She also urged the government to construct houses for the affected families.

Kavitha said she would continue to pressure the government until authorities deliver justice and provide a permanent solution.
