Kavitha meets Banjara leaders, discusses new political party plans

Hyderabad: Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha met Banjara community leaders and discussed plans related to a proposed new political party.

She visited the residence of retired Additional DGP D T Naik in Hyderabad and held a meeting with him and other prominent members of the community. During the interaction, she focused on future political engagement.

Kavitha discussed measures needed for the welfare of the Banjara community in the state. At the same time, she sought suggestions from leaders ahead of the planned party launch on April 25.

Further, she said the community lacked cabinet representation for the first time in the history of united Andhra Pradesh. Therefore, she assured that her party would provide due opportunities to Banjaras.

Meanwhile, she invited community leaders to offer suggestions and actively participate in the new political platform. In addition, she welcomed those willing to enter active politics.

Several leaders attended the meeting, including retired IRS officer Laxman Naik and All India Banjara Seva Sangh state president Mohan Singh Naik. Moreover, Commercial Tax Deputy Commissioner Bheemla Naik and Baski Naik joined.

General secretary Hari Naik, Tribal Electricity Board chairman Narayana, and media secretary Bheemudu Naik also attended. Additionally, Electricity DEE Balaji Naik and Telangana Jagruthi working president L Roop Singh Naik were present.

Other community representatives and Jagruthi leaders also participated in the meeting.
