K Sreenivas Reddy tenure extended as Telangana Media Academy chairman

Hyderabad: The state government extended K Sreenivas Reddy tenure as Chairman of the Telangana Media Academy for a further period of two years, according to orders issued on Wednesday.

As per the Government Order, authorities approved the extension after careful examination. The order stated that the extension would take effect from February 25, 2026.

The government clarified that the remuneration, allowances, facilities and supporting staff sanctioned earlier through previous Government Orders would continue during the extended K Sreenivas Reddy tenure. It also stated that expenditure towards remuneration, salaries of supporting staff and vehicle hiring would be met from the funds of the Information & Public Relations Department.

Financial terms continue during K Sreenivas Reddy tenure

The order further mentioned that all other terms and conditions of his appointment would remain unchanged. Therefore, the existing administrative framework of the Telangana Media Academy will continue without modification.

In addition, the Special Commissioner of the Information & Public Relations Department, Hyderabad, has been directed to take necessary further action to implement the extension of the tenure.
