Jupally budget Telangana Rising 2047 vision stresses growth

Hyderabad: The Jupally budget Telangana Rising 2047 vision was highlighted on Friday, as Minister for Tourism, Culture and Excise Jupally Krishna Rao said the State Budget charted a path for inclusive and sustainable growth.

In a statement, Jupally Krishna Rao said the budget aligned with the Telangana Rising 2047 vision while maintaining fiscal discipline. He added that it aimed to build confidence among all sections of society and promote balanced development.

Further, he noted that allocations would benefit farmers and strengthen key sectors such as agriculture, education, and healthcare. Additionally, provisions for nine new schemes would support students, employees, and the elderly.

According to the minister, the budget focused on welfare alongside long-term development priorities. He also linked these measures to broader efforts to ensure equitable growth across sectors.

Expanding on the budget Telangana Rising 2047, he welcomed the allocation of ₹1,224 crore to tourism and cultural sectors. He described this move as a major step to boost tourism activity in the State.

Moreover, he said the proposed Tourism Policy 2025–2030 would attract investments and create employment opportunities. The policy, in turn, aims to strengthen infrastructure and promote Telangana as a key destination.

Jupally Krishna Rao also highlighted the response to the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. In this context, he said the government received investment proposals worth over ₹25,000 crore.

He further stated that the State was moving ahead with a clear policy framework and an actionable plan to process these proposals. As a result, the approach would accelerate development while ensuring transparency.

Overall, the minister said the budget balanced fiscal discipline with welfare and development priorities, in line with the Telangana Rising 2047 roadmap.
