Jagga Reddy mourns death of poet Andesri, calls him voice of Telangana struggle

Hyderabad: TPCC working president and MLA T. Jagga Reddy expressed deep sorrow over the sudden demise of noted Telangana poet and lyricist Andeshree. He called Andeshree’s death an irreparable loss to the people of Telangana.

Telangana movement found its voice in Andeshree’s songs

Recalling his personal association, Jagga Reddy said he first met Andeshree in 2004 during the Telangana Dhoom Dhaam cultural event held in Sangareddy. “That was when I truly discovered the emotional power of his lyrics,” he said.

He noted that Andeshree’s songs during the Telangana statehood movement played a pivotal role in awakening public consciousness. “No one can forget Andeshree. His name will remain permanent in the cultural history of Telangana,” he said.

Jagga Reddy described Andeshree as a true people’s poet whose songs reflect the soul of Telangana. “Even though the man is gone, his songs will never die. His words will keep him alive in every heart,” he said.

He added that Andeshree’s poetry inspires introspection about human values and social justice. “Whenever we hear his lyrics, we are moved. His songs connect directly with the spirit of the people,” he said.

Jagga Reddy offered heartfelt condolences to Andeshree’s family and wished peace for the departed soul.
