Hyderabad: In response to 27,138 students applying for re-verification of their intermediate exam scripts, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has uploaded 42,856 answer sheets on its official website. Students can access their copies using their hall ticket numbers.
Additionally, 6,266 answer sheets submitted for recounting have also been made available online. However, the board has not disclosed how many papers saw an increase in marks – a detail students and parents were keen to know.
Rules mandate that if any answer script sees an increase of more than five marks, the original evaluator should face a penalty. Allegations have surfaced that some evaluators awarded marks arbitrarily.
Importantly, re-verification in Telangana does not mean re-evaluation by a subject expert. Instead, officials only ensure that all pages were considered, marks were added correctly, and no questions were left unevaluated.
