Intermediate Annual Examinations begin across Telangana

Hyderabad: The Intermediate Annual Examinations began across Telangana at 9 am on Wednesday under tight security and elaborate arrangements.

Authorities conducted the Second Language paper for first-year students on the opening day. Second-year examinations will begin from Thursday. Officials ensured smooth conduct at centres across the State.

TGSRTC operated special buses for the convenience of students. Police and education officials deployed personnel at examination centres to prevent untoward incidents.

Tight security for Intermediate Annual Examinations across State

The Inter Board monitored the Annual Examinations through CCTV surveillance and deployed flying squad teams for inspections. Officials strictly prohibited mobile phones, smart watches and other electronic devices inside centres.

Authorities advised students to remain calm and avoid stress while writing the examinations. The Board kept special helpline numbers operational to address grievances and clarify doubts.

A total of 9,97,075 students will appear for the Intermediate Annual Examinations this year. Among them, 4,89,126 are first-year students and 5,07,949 are second-year candidates.

For conduct of the examinations, officials selected 863 private colleges, 404 government colleges, 221 aided colleges and seven other educational institutions as centres across Telangana.
