Industrial growth push sought for Nagarkurnool by MP Mallu Ravi

Hyderabad: Congress MP Mallu Ravi on Friday urged the Centre to drive industrial growth Nagarkurnool by transforming the constituency into a model region through targeted investments and industrial expansion. He raised the demand in Parliament and pressed the Union government to prioritise development in the backward district.

Ravi appealed to the Finance and Industries Ministries to establish major industries in the constituency. In addition, he asked the Centre to consider expanding industrial units from Hyderabad into Nagarkurnool. He said such steps would help balance regional growth and improve economic activity in underserved areas.

He stressed that industrial growth Nagarkurnool required direct policy support and infrastructure backing. Without such intervention, he argued, backward regions would continue to lag behind more developed urban centres.

Industrial growth Nagarkurnool linked to ring road boost

Highlighting infrastructure, Ravi pointed to the upcoming Regional Ring Road project as a key driver for industrial growth Nagarkurnool. He said the project would improve connectivity and unlock new investment opportunities across the region. Moreover, he added that better transport links would create employment and support local businesses.

He then urged the Centre to use this infrastructure advantage to attract industries and ensure balanced development. “Give our backward region a chance to grow, lead Nagarkurnool on the path of development,” he said.

Furthermore, he maintained that timely action by the Centre could turn the constituency into a model for planned regional development. As a result, he said industrial expansion, supported by infrastructure, would help generate jobs and improve livelihoods in the district.
