HYDERABAD: The Indian Navy has announced a recruitment notification for Agniveer positions, including Agniveer (Matric Recruit), Agniveer (Senior Secondary Recruit), and Agniveer (SSR Medical). Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications from March 29 to April 10. Selected candidates will undergo training at INS Chilka for batches commencing in September 2025, February 2026, and July 2026. Upon completion of training, recruits will serve for a duration of four years.

For the Agniveer (MR) position, candidates must have completed the 10th standard. Those applying for Agniveer (SSR) should have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry in their intermediate education. Applicants for Agniveer (SSR Medical) need to have studied Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in their intermediate education, with a minimum of 50% marks.
The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT), written examination, physical fitness tests, and a medical examination.
