Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force South West Zone busted an illegal carrom club in the Zeba Bagh area, apprehending 42 individuals during a late-night raid.
The raid followed a tip-off about unauthorised gambling activities under the guise of a carrom club. The premises, operated by one Nazeer, were reportedly being used for unlicensed gaming sessions.
All individuals found on-site were detained and handed over to the Asif Nagar Police for further legal action.
Officials said the club was operating without permits and violated gaming and public nuisance regulations. The investigation is ongoing.
