Hyderabad, January 6: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring Agency (HYDRAA) public grievance platform ‘Prajavani’ will now be conducted every Monday at Buddha Bhavan.
Citizens can directly submit complaints regarding encroachments on government parks, lands, and lakes during these weekly sessions, according to Commissioner Ranganath.
The sessions will be held from 11 AM to 5 PM, with tokens issued to the first 50 complainants each week. Citizens are encouraged to bring detailed evidence, such as survey numbers, photographs, and other supporting documents, to facilitate swift processing of their grievances.
Since its inception, the HYDRA office at Buddha Bhavan has received numerous complaints, often leading to long waiting times for petitioners. To address this, the decision to organise a weekly grievance day was made, providing citizens with a structured opportunity to report issues directly.
Commissioner Ranganath assured that once complaints are filed, immediate field inspections will be carried out. If encroachments are confirmed, notices will be issued and corrective actions will follow promptly. The initiative aims to make grievance redressal more accessible and efficient for Hyderabad residents.
