Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Traffic Police announced traffic restrictions and diversions across parts of the city for Jummat-ul-Vida prayers at Mecca Masjid on March 20.
Police will close roads from Charminar towards Madina, Murgi Chowk and Shalibanda from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Meanwhile, officials will divert traffic at key junctions, including Madina, Himmatpura, Chowk Maidan Kaman, Motigalli, Etebar Chowk, Sher-e-Batil Kaman and Lakkad Kote.
Hyderabad traffic restrictions in Charminar areas
Authorities arranged parking facilities at several locations. These include Gulzar Function Hall, Mufeed-ul-Anam Ground, Charminar Bus Terminal, AU Hospital, Khilwat Ground and areas near Chowmohalla Palace.
In addition, RTC buses heading towards Charminar will terminate at Afzalgunj. Buses travelling towards districts will move via Chaderghat, Saidabad, IS Sadan, DMRL Junction and Aramghar.
Similarly, in Secunderabad, police will close Subhash Road between Mahankali Police Station and Old Ramgopalpet junction from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Traffic will move via Ranigunj and Paradise.
Police advised commuters to plan their travel in advance. They also urged the public to follow traffic updates on official social media platforms.
