Hyderabad police transfer 63 inspectors in major reshuffle

Hyderabad: Hyderabad police transferred 63 inspectors across the city commissionerate in a major administrative reshuffle to improve operational efficiency.

City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar issued the orders on Sunday night after the Police Establishment Board meeting held on February 14. As a result, several officers moved to key police stations as Station House Officers (SHOs). Meanwhile, others shifted to Special Branch, Traffic and Crime wings.

Among the transfers, T. Rambabu moved from Special Branch to Charminar SHO. Similarly, U. Srinivasulu Reddy shifted from Saifabad SHO to Jubilee Hills SHO. A. Seethayya moved from Falaknuma SHO to Saifabad SHO. In addition, S. Koteswar Rao shifted from Asif Nagar Traffic to Chatrinaka SHO. Likewise, N. Mohan Rao moved from Chatrinaka Traffic to Afzalgunj SHO.

Hyderabad police order immediate reporting at new postings

Hyderabad police also posted several inspectors who were awaiting assignments to the Special Branch. These include K. Srinivasulu, K. Adi Reddy, K. Chandrasekhar and CH. Parashuram.

Furthermore, authorities transferred K. Narayana Reddy and U. Chandrasekhar to the Cyber Crimes wing. At the same time, the department appointed T. Vamsi Krishna Rao to head the SHE Team. Additionally, officials assigned B. Palle Padma to oversee the Bharosa Centre.

Finally, the Commissioner directed all transferred officers to relieve immediately and report at their new postings without delay. He also instructed senior officials to implement the orders promptly and submit a compliance report.
