Hyderabad: South East Zone police in Hyderabad have launched detailed security and coordination efforts to ensure peaceful and traditional Milad-un-Nabi celebrations this year.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East Zone) S. Chaitanya Kumar led a meeting at the Police Commissionerate on Thursday. Religious leaders, imams, and local committee members joined the discussion to plan the celebrations and maintain city-wide peace.
Chaitanya Kumar said police teams would support all processions, prayers, and religious events. He asked community organisers to work closely with the police to avoid any disruptions.
He also urged organisers to prevent provocative speeches and avoid any unlawful acts during the celebrations. In response, religious leaders promised their full cooperation to ensure a safe and respectful observance.
Traffic and crime division officers outlined safety measures for the event. Local police teams will stay alert in sensitive areas and actively manage crowd control throughout the city.
