Technical snag halts Hyderabad Metro at Bharath Nagar, services resume after delay

Hyderabad: Metro services on the LB Nagar–Miyapur corridor were briefly halted on Tuesday due to a technical snag at Bharath Nagar station, causing peak-hour inconvenience.

Officials said a train stopped for eight minutes after a fault in the power feeder channel. The snag triggered route-wide delays, leaving commuters stuck on platforms.

Metro staff quickly alerted the technical team, which reached the site and fixed the issue within minutes. Services resumed gradually and returned to normal within 25 minutes of the disruption.

Frustrated passengers urged Hyderabad Metro Rail authorities to reduce response times and improve system reliability during rush hours.
