Hyderabad heavy rains trigger traffic chaos, CM orders alert

Hyderabad: Torrential showers lashed Hyderabad from Thursday evening, flooding major roads and bringing traffic to a standstill across the city. The downpour, described as the heaviest in years, left commuters stranded in kilometre-long jams as waterlogging turned several stretches into temporary lakes.

The India Meteorological Department warned that rainfall could continue until midnight. In response, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed senior officials to maintain round-the-clock vigilance.
