Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand on Wednesday visited the newly established Tolichowki police station in the Southwest Zone, marking its operational launch. During the visit, Anand formally received the first FIR registered at the station.
He stated that the new station was set up with the intention of bringing police services closer to residents in the area. “This facility is part of our effort to ensure better accessibility and prompt service to the public,” Anand said.
While the police station is now open to the public, the Commissioner noted that a formal inauguration ceremony will be held soon after finalising a date with the concerned minister.
Residents of Tolichowki and surrounding areas are expected to benefit from improved law enforcement presence and quicker response times with the station now fully functional.
