Hyderabad police constables recover lost bag with gold, cash at Lakdikapool

Hyderabad: Two constables attached to the Saifabad Police Station were felicitated on Monday for promptly recovering a lost bag containing valuables at the Lakdikapool bus stop.

Constables B. Purushottam Kumar and Y. Vijay Kumar, deployed on Patrol Car-1, responded swiftly to a Dial 100 alert regarding the lost bag.

Upon reaching the location, the officers conducted a quick search and recovered the bag, which contained 8 tolas of gold, ₹15,000 in cash, a mobile phone, and other personal items. The bag was later handed back to its owner.

Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand, IPS, presented cash rewards and certificates of appreciation to both constables in recognition of their prompt action. Saifabad Inspector Raghavendar was also present during the felicitation.
