Harish Rao urges BRS cadre to use social media to target Congress

Hyderabad: Former minister and senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao urged party workers to aggressively use social media. He said it should expose the Congress government’s “deceptive practices.”

He made these remarks at a joining programme. On the occasion, Congress social media coordinator Md. Arif and 25 others from Bollaram in Patancheru joined the BRS.

Harish Rao welcomed the new members. He also presented them with pink scarves in the presence of leader Balareddy.

Harish Rao highlights the role of social media

Speaking on the occasion, Harish Rao said social media is a powerful platform. It helps highlight public issues from villages to the state level.

He also urged the youth to stay active online. Moreover, he asked them to take responsibility in shaping public opinion.

Meanwhile, he launched a sharp attack on the Congress government. He alleged that it failed to deliver on key promises.

For instance, he said the job calendar was not implemented. He also claimed that employment generation had not improved.

BRS leader termed the promise of two lakh jobs as “bogus.” In addition, he accused the government of neglecting women, farmers and the elderly.

He further said public anger is increasing. Therefore, he asked party workers to expose the government’s failures.
