HYDERABAD: A gym trainer was brutally attacked and killed with dumbbells by a group of four individuals, including a friend, in Boduapally, Veerareddy Nagar, located in Medchal district. The incident took place at Zest Fit Gym, where the victim, Kishore (35), worked as a coach and proprietor.
According to preliminary reports, Kishore was inside the gym when his friend Chanti, accompanied by three others, entered the premises and assaulted him with dumbbells. The attack left Kishore with severe injuries, and his condition rapidly deteriorated.
He was immediately shifted to Gandhi Hospital in Secunderabad, where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
Police suspect that the motive behind the attack was an old enmity between Kishore and Chanti. An investigation is underway to confirm the motive and identify all those involved.
Police began the investigation after registering a case and collecting CCTV footage from the area to aid the investigation.
