Hyderabad: Chaos broke out in Rangapur village, Karimnagar district, after a groom ditched his bride-to-be and married another woman—just a day before the scheduled ceremony.
The man, identified as Madhukar Reddy, a software engineer based in Hyderabad, had been engaged to a woman from the same mandal. Preparations were complete. The wedding was to be held at a local function hall yesterday.
But in a stunning twist, Reddy secretly tied the knot with another woman the day before—and sent the wedding photos to the original bride’s family.
Shocked and outraged, the bride’s relatives rushed to the local police station seeking justice. They claim Reddy and his parents locked up their house and fled the area.
Police have been urged to trace the family and take legal action.
