Governor celebrates Ugadi at Lok Bhavan

Hyderabad: Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla participated in Ugadi celebrations at Lok Bhavan and extended greetings to Telugu people on the occasion of the new year.

The Governor attended the event along with First Lady Janaki Shukla. The celebrations marked Sri Parabhava Nama Samvatsara Ugadi and drew several dignitaries.

He said Ugadi reflects Telugu culture and strengthens unity among Telugu-speaking communities. He also wished happiness and prosperity to people on the occasion.

Governor extends Ugadi greetings at Lok Bhavan

During his address, he urged people to welcome the new year with dedication and commitment. He emphasised the value of hard work and selfless service in building a better future.

Scholar Sankaramanchi Shiva Shayi Srinivas presented the Panchanga Pathanam. Cultural performances by NCRT, Bengaluru added to the celebrations.

Chief Justice Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukender Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka attended the event.

Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Ponnam Prabhakar and Mohammed Azharuddin, along with MLAs, judges, senior Army officials and top bureaucrats, were present.
