Hyderabad: In a swift action, Gopalapuram Police arrested three accused involved in a mobile snatching incident reported near Chilkalguda crossroads on June 28, 2025.
The complainant, cab driver Derengula Durga Rao, told police that his Oppo F27 Pro mobile phone was snatched while he was waiting for an Uber bike.
Police identified the suspects as Madana Ravi Teja alias Bunny alias Ravi, 21, a rowdy sheet of PS Chilkalguda; Balla Naga Chenna Kesava Rao, 21, also a rowdy sheet of PS Chilkalguda; and a juvenile, 15, from Mettuguda, Secunderabad.
The police recovered two mobile phones, including an OnePlus, and seized the Activa two-wheeler (registration TG10 1475) used in the offence.
The investigation was led by SHO M Madhu Kumar and DI BV Kausheek with the crime staff of Gopalapuram Police Station, under the supervision of DCP S. Rashmi Perumal, IPS, Additional DCP P. Ashok (North Zone), and ACP P. Subbaiah (Gopalapuram).
