Hyderabad: Gold and silver prices remained unchanged across major Telugu states on January 4. There was no significant rise or drop recorded.
In both Hyderabad and Vijayawada, the price of 22-carat gold stood at ₹1,24,450 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,35,820. Silver prices also held steady, with the metal retailing at ₹2,56,000 per kilogram.
The stability in rates follows recent fluctuations where daily changes gold silver prices had caused uncertainty among buyers. The steady prices are expected to bring temporary relief to those planning purchases during the ongoing festive and wedding season.
Rates remained uniform across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as reported by local bullion markets.
