Hyderabad: Gold and silver prices tumbled on Thursday, 15 May, marking one of the steepest single-day declines in recent weeks. According to India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold has fallen by ₹2,375 to ₹91,484.
Just a day earlier, gold was priced at ₹93,859 per 10 grams.
Silver followed suit. One kilogram now trades at ₹94,103, after a drop of ₹2,297 from Wednesday’s rate of ₹96,400.
The precious metals had seen record highs earlier this year. Gold had hit ₹99,100 on 21 April. Silver touched an all-time high of ₹1,00,934 per kilo on 28 March.
