Gold crosses ₹1 lakh in Hyderabad as prices continue to surge

HYDERABAD: The Gold Price in Hyderabad has crossed the ₹1 lakh mark, reaching an all-time high as market momentum pushes prices upward.

As of 22nd April 2025, the price of 24-carat gold in Hyderabad stands at ₹1,00,015 for 10 grams, reflecting a steep surge of ₹22,515 compared to ₹77,500 on 22nd July 2024. This dramatic rise has occurred over just nine months.

On a per-gram basis, 24K gold is priced at ₹10,135, marking an increase of ₹300 from the previous rate. Similarly, 22K gold has reached ₹9,290 per gram, rising by ₹275, and 18K gold has climbed to ₹7,601 per gram, with a ₹225 increase.

Jewellers and analysts attribute the consistent upward trend to a combination of global market volatility, strong retail demand, and investment interest in gold as a safe-haven asset.
