Hyderabad: Two men on a motorcycle snatched a gold chain from a woman in Nacharam on Monday and fled before locals could respond. The incident occurred in Karthikeya Nagar while the victim was walking along the road.
Woman targeted in daytime snatching
The victim, identified as Lakshmi (40), was on her way through the residential area when the assailants rode up and grabbed her chain, which weighed approximately 3 tolas. She raised an alarm, but the snatchers escaped through nearby lanes before anyone could intervene.
CCTV footage under review
Nacharam police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Officers are reviewing CCTV footage from the locality in an effort to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in the snatching.
