Global law-tech summit ATLEG 2026 to be held in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Global Academy of Law-Tech Education and Research (GALTER) announced that it will host a Global law-tech summit titled “ATLEG-2026” in Hyderabad from April 3 to 5.

The three-day Global law-tech summit will be held at the Telangana Tourism Plaza Hotel in Begumpet. It marks the first time that GALTER is organising the event in Hyderabad.

Summit director Prof M.K. Bhandari said the event would focus on “Advanced Technologies, Law, Ethics and Governance.” He outlined the objectives while addressing mediapersons in the city.

Global law-tech summit to feature international experts

Experts from the United States, England, Japan, Germany, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Russia, Nepal and Sri Lanka will take part. Several participants will also join from different cities across India.

More than 200 delegates are expected to attend the Global law-tech summit, both physically and online. These include members from the judiciary, legal profession, academia, technology sector, banking and management fields, along with socio-economic activists.

The summit will feature over 75 sessions covering Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, blockchain, fintech and digital assets. Experts will deliberate on cybercrime, data privacy and ethical governance during the Global law-tech summit.

They will also work towards proposing a draft legal framework on emerging technologies and governance issues.

Several prominent jurists and experts will participate in the Global law-tech summit. These include Justice Sandeep Mehta of the Supreme Court of India, Justice M.R. Shah, former Supreme Court judge, and Justice Dinesh Maheshwari, Chairperson of the Law Commission of India.

Former Chief Justice of Sri Lanka Mohan Pieris, Justice S. Nanda of the Telangana High Court and Justice Suraj Govindaraj of the Karnataka High Court are also expected to attend.

In addition, Justice J.K. Ranka and Justice Dr Vineet Kothari from the Rajasthan High Court will be present. Academic leaders such as Prof G.S. Bajpai of National Law University, Delhi, and Prof C. Raj Kumar of Jindal Global University will participate.

International speakers include Dr Josina from the United States, Tony Moroney from Ireland and Prof Dr Joerg Molt from Germany.

During the Global law-tech summit, Prof G.S. Bajpai and Prof C. Raj Kumar will receive the second Prof S.R. Bhansali Memorial National Award for Excellence in Law.

A 750-page book on Law and Technology authored by Prof M.K. Bhandari will also be released during the event. The organisers said the Global law-tech summit would serve as a platform for dialogue on emerging legal and technological challenges.
