Hyderabad: GHMC intensified its encroachment removal drive across the city to ensure smooth traffic flow and protect public spaces.
Officials carried out the drive at multiple locations and cleared illegal structures obstructing roads. As a result, authorities aimed to improve accessibility and reduce congestion.
GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan inspected the operation at Jambagh in Goshamahal. During the visit, he reviewed on-ground execution and issued directions to officials.

Further, the Commissioner instructed teams to conduct the drive systematically and effectively. He emphasised the need for consistent action against violations.
Meanwhile, officials said the civic body remained committed to maintaining encroachment-free roads. In addition, they stressed improving urban mobility for citizens.
Authorities said such drives would continue across Hyderabad to safeguard public spaces and ensure better traffic movement.
