Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan urged property owners to clear pending property tax dues immediately and avail a 90% waiver on interest under the OTS scheme.
He said the State Government introduced the One Time Settlement scheme for the financial year 2025–26, offering a 90% concession on interest for payments made on or before March 31.
GHMC offers a property tax interest waiver under OTS
The Commissioner said authorities would accept property tax payments only through online mode. Citizens can pay through the official GHMC portal, the MyGHMC mobile app, MeeSeva centres, and Citizen Service Centres.
He asked citizens to utilise the scheme and clear dues without delay. He added that timely payments would support development works in the city.
The Commissioner warned that officials would take strict action against chronic defaulters as per provisions of the GHMC Act.
