GHMC Commissioner Karnan inspects sanitation under Praja Palana drive

Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R. V. Karnan conducted surprise field inspections across the city to review sanitation conditions under the 99-day Praja Palana–Pragati Pranalika programme.

During the visit, Karnan inspected sanitation activities in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills to assess civic maintenance and waste management.

He carried out the inspections along with Khairatabad Zonal Commissioner Priyanka Ala.

Officials also reviewed sanitation conditions at NBT Nagar and garbage vulnerable points near Apollo Hospital, Banjara Hills.

GHMC Commissioner reviews sanitation works

During the inspection, R. V. Karnan directed officials to eliminate garbage vulnerable points and improve sanitation management in the area.

He also reviewed sanitation works in the Jubilee Hills Circle under the Khairatabad Zone.

Meanwhile, Karnan inspected an open land parcel in MLA Colony and instructed officials to develop the area into a public park.

He further asked officials to ensure strict monitoring of sanitation activities under the Praja Palana programme.

The GHMC Commissioner emphasised that officials must strengthen waste management and maintain civic cleanliness across the city.
