Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R V Karnan inspected sanitation conditions in Jubilee Hills Circle and directed officials to strengthen cleanliness measures across key areas.
The GHMC Commissioner conducted a surprise visit covering Deendayal Nagar, Film Nagar, Vinayak Nagar and Lotus Park. He reviewed ongoing sanitation works and assessed ground-level implementation.
He asked officials to improve the effectiveness of sanitation drives. At the same time, he stressed the need for sustained efforts to maintain cleanliness.
GHMC Commissioner stresses sanitation and GVP clearance
During the inspection, he directed teams to eliminate Garbage Vulnerable Points on priority. He also ordered immediate clearance of construction and demolition waste to prevent accumulation.
Further, he instructed officials to maintain roads, internal streets, parks, lakes and government offices in hygienic condition. This, he said, would improve living standards for residents.
Reaffirming the civic body’s vision, the GHMC Commissioner urged officials to work with accountability and dedication. He said the goal was to transform Hyderabad into a cleaner and healthier city.
Additional Commissioners Priyanka Ala and Ravi Kiran accompanied him during the inspection.
