GHMC Commissioner inspects works in Goshamahal, Karwan

Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner R. V. Karnan conducted surprise inspections in Goshamahal and Karwan Circles to review sanitation and development works under the State’s 99-day programme.

The GHMC Commissioner visited Bhagat Singh Junction and inspected ongoing junction development works. He also reviewed the functioning of the Indiramma Canteen and instructed officials to carry out immediate road patchwork to ease public movement.

He checked public toilets maintained under the PPP model and interacted with the caretaker. R. V. Karnan verified sanitation staff attendance and directed officials to maintain hygiene standards at all times.

GHMC Commissioner reviews sanitation and development works

Accompanied by Zonal Commissioner Mukunda Reddy and other officials, R. V. Karnan conducted a walk-through of nearby roads and garbage vulnerable points. He instructed teams to clear encroachments near Ambedkar Community Hall.

He directed officials to prepare the facility for inauguration ahead of Ugadi. The GHMC Commissioner later inspected the 100-Feet Road at Jiyaguda and reviewed sanitation and road maintenance works.

He asked officials to speed up development activities in the area. Engineering and sanitation teams, along with GHMC staff from Karwan Circle, were present during the inspection.
