Hyderabad: The number of GHMC additional commissioners has been reduced from 14 to 6, following a recent administrative reshuffle triggered by transfers.
Three officials were recently moved out of GHMC. Instead of filling all the vacancies, the municipal administration has appointed only six additional commissioners, while the remaining posts have been converted to joint commissioner-level assignments.
The new GHMC additional commissioners and their portfolios are as follows:
IAS officer Anurag Jayanti has been appointed as Additional Commissioner for the Advertisement, Revenue, and IT departments.
IFS officer Subhadra Devi will handle Sports and Urban Biodiversity.
Raghu Prasad has been assigned the Sanitation and Health portfolio.
Pankaj will take charge as Additional Commissioner for Urban Community Development.
Saroj has been posted as Additional Commissioner for the Department of Enquiries.
Alivelu Mangatayaru will manage Elections and Estates.
This restructuring comes as part of GHMC’s ongoing internal reorganisation.
