German SDP delegation meets Telangana Speaker, discusses investment prospects

Hyderabad: A delegation from Germany’s ruling Social Democratic Party (SDP) met with Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar on Friday, discussing legislative practices and investment opportunities in the state. The German SDP aims to foster international cooperation through such meetings.

The visiting team included SDP Secretary General Sabina Fenderich, Asia-Pacific Head Mikro Gunther, India Director Christoph P. More, and was joined by Bhuvanagiri MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, Legislative Secretary Dr. V. Narasimha Charyulu, and other officials. Their collaboration with the German SDP signifies ongoing international dialogue and partnership.

Speaker Prasad Kumar highlighted the importance of robust discussions in the Telangana Legislative Assembly and said the state, under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s leadership, is progressing rapidly across sectors. He also stressed Telangana’s focus on attracting German SDP’s interest in foreign investments by offering a favorable business environment.

As a gesture of goodwill, the Speaker presented traditional shawls to the German SDP delegates.
