Gaddar Film Awards 2025 held in Hyderabad with top honours announced

Hyderabad: The state government conducted the Gaddar Film Awards in Hyderabad on Thursday, presenting top honours across categories.

The ceremony took place at the HITEX Convention Centre on March 19 as the state marked Ugadi. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attended, while leaders from cinema and politics gathered at the venue.

Chiranjeevi arrived with Surekha, while Nagarjuna came with Amala. Kamal Haasan attended as well. Meanwhile, newly married Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala drew attention during the ceremony.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka joined the event. Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Jupally Krishna Rao also attended. Together with Chiranjeevi, they lit the ceremonial lamp and opened the programme.

Top winners at Gaddar Film Awards ceremony

Organisers presented awards for films released in 2025. Naga Chaitanya won the best actor award for “Thandel”, while Rashmika Mandanna secured best actress for “The Girl Friend”.

“Raju Weds Rambai” won the best film award. At the same time, Sailu secured the best director honour for the same project.

The event also featured special recognitions. Chiranjeevi received the NTR National Award, while Kamal Haasan took the Paidi Jairaj Film Award. In addition, veteran actor Jayasudha received the ANR Film Award.

Suma Kanakala and Pradeep Machiraju hosted the event. During the programme, Nidhhi Agerwal performed a dance, which drew a strong response.

The Telangana Film Development Corporation organised the event, and it drew participation from across the film industry.
